In all creative artistic phases – we find archaic female figures. Extraordinary figures of Greek women are to be found in the museum in Paestum; first and foremost the majestic Mother Goddess, pomegranate in hand, wearing her cylindrical crown, which also adorned other Goddesses. Reduced to the essential, in abstract we become timeless but nevertheless, expressive – above all by shaping women! Starting from archaic forms such as the sphere, the cube, the slab and cylinders one can find a way to create various representations.
